Peng Hu 烧渔

Peng Hu or Ikan Bakar is one of the most popular dish for supper. Fish such as sting ray, sea bass or sardin are normally used to be BBQ on banana leaf on top of the hot iron grill. It is then serve with a special made sambal or thick spicy shrimp based saurce. It is the sambal that normally determine the deliciousness of the Peng Hu. Some popular Peng Hu can be found at most night spots, but I prefer the one at the Tabuan Heights Commercial Centre call the shui gui or "water goast". The one at the Ho Se Liao (used to be Xiang Xiang) at RH Plaza and the one at Fock Seng Garden at the 3rd mile are also very nice. Recommended to be served with a glass of icy cold beer!....ar....
